Mod My Life is a unique way to view and interact with the world. It's kind of like "Second Life" mapped back onto reality.

At Mod My Life, a mod is a suggestion for a future action. For example, you could submit a mod to see a modstar bargain for a half-price Big Mac.

Modstars perform the mods that users choose as the most interesting.

Well, it's not quite that simple. When you submit a mod, it goes into the mod pool where people can vote on it. The most popular mods get promoted to the finals. Each time the modstar finishes the active mod, a new mod is chosen from the finals and immediately transmitted to the modstar. We also have some guidelines for modding, listed on the right, to keep our modstars and the general public safe.

Yes, give or take some seconds used to keep the video smooth. We stream the video straight from the modstar to our servers, and from our servers straight to you.

Even we need to have a few rules, at least for now. Our modstars already know these guidelines, but we're we're writing them down here just to keep things clear.

1.  Don't physically hurt people or animals.

2.  Don't verbally assault people. Yelling at animals is ok as long as they don't get offended.

3.  Don't mess with kids. Too many times they've viciously beat up our modstars as retribution.

4.  Don't mess with old people. Same as #3.

5.  Don't make our modstars do illegal activities. We can't afford bail.

6.  Think that covers the basics. We value your creativity. Have fun!

7.  Oh, one more. Don't make our modstars sing Don't Stop Believin' more than once per modcast.
